Phagos x AWS — Hackdays 2025

Welcome to the first ever Phagos x AWS hackathon, where AI meets Biology to address one of the most exciting challenge of this century. We are Phagos and we’re on a mission to create a cleaner, more sustainable future by harnessing bacteriophages — nature’s bacteria predators — to fight the growing threat of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and cure infectious diseases in animal farming.


Help us unleashing the power of LLMs on phage genomes, explore new frontiers and learn by doing! Whether you are a computational biologist, a computer scientist or simply passionate about BioxAI, join us in Paris to embark on this 2-days journey alongside other talented and skilled researchers.

And if you cannot join us in person in Paris, don’t worry — we’ve got your back! We will miss you, yes, but you’ll have the opportunity to participate remotely. 💻

This exclusive event is co-organized with
Amazon Web Services (AWS): they will provide training on SageMaker, AWS all-in-one platform for AI-intensive tasks, and we will use this platform to access the latest open source foundation models for Biology.

You’ll have 36 hours to build up your solution and if you can join us in person, the event will take place in our offices at DocCity, 5 Rue Gardenat Lapostol Suresnes providing you with a stimulating and collaborative environment to innovate.

• This event allows both on site and remote participation, free of charge

• You'll have 36 hours to work in teams of 2-4 people
